We do not sell your personal data. We may share your data with trusted third parties where necessary to operate the App, including:

• Supabase — database and backend infrastructure, to securely store and manage your account data and app usage data
• OpenAI — to analyse meal images and food descriptions for nutritional information. Meal photos and descriptions may be processed on OpenAI's servers. OpenAI's privacy policy applies to this processing.
• Apple (App Store) and Google (Play Store) — to process in-app purchases and subscriptions
• Analytics and hosting providers — to improve performance and user experience

We may also share your data if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 10).

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

Account deletion: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data directly within the App via More → Delete account. Alternatively, contact hola@thedaisyvanoosten.com and we will process your deletion request within 30 days.
